The Button Museum

The Button museum by Giorgio Gallavotti. The first and unique in Italy. One century of history about buttons.

The collection, with over 8500 buttons, is divided in to 3 sections. The first section has about 5000 buttons linked with Italy’s political, social and fashion history in the 1900’s, with references to world history as well. The second section includes about 1300 buttons made in over 50 different materials. The third section has 110 panels with around 1000 buttons from the 18th and 19th centuries, true works of art from the days in which elegant buttons made with precious materials were marks of distinction. More info here.
